Bio

Keyboardist and composer Robert Lindquist, a lifelong Albany native, is both classically and jazz trained, holding degrees from SUNY Schenectady, SUNY Potsdam, and a Master’s in Jazz Studies from The College of Saint Rose. A versatile and award-winning pianist, he has shared the stage with artists including Chuck D’Aloia, Dave Calarco, Othello Molineaux, Kenwood Dennard, Keith Pray and Brian Patneaude, among others, while contributing arrangements/original compositions that help define the group’s sound. Lindquist is a staple of the Capital Region jazz scene, and was the leader of Jazz Fusion/Funk band New Regime, Rob performs regularly at festivals and premier venues throughout the area.
